Main line · house to street
The main line, opened up.
When several drains back up at once, the problem is usually in the main sewer line between your house and the city connection — often roots, grease or heavy buildup.

Step 01
Access
We work from a cleanout or suitable access point to reach the main line.
Step 02
Root & clear
A heavy-duty rooter cable with the right cutter head cuts through roots and buildup along the line.
Step 03
Flow check
We run water through the system to confirm the line is moving again.
Step 04
Next steps
If roots or a recurring problem are likely, we'll talk through inspection and maintenance options.

Questions we hear.
Will roots grow back?
Roots that enter through joints can return over time. Periodic cleaning or a camera inspection to check the line's condition are the usual conversations.
Do I need a cleanout?
A cleanout makes access easier, but there are often other ways in. We'll look at what your home has.
